this IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO get to know me, TELL US ALL ABOUT YOUR PET AND YOUR NEEDS, AND ASK US ANY QUESTIONS. i WILL GET TO MEET AND BOND WITH YOUR PET AND FIND OUT all about their likes and dislikes and do a short behavioural assessment while we chat. providing we are all happy i can also complete the paperwork and get you enrolled with us on the spot
Once youre set up you can book services as and when you need them, knowing that whatever you are doing your pet is in safe hands and being well cared for. bookings are easy to make, theres no complicated booking systems to navigate, just drop me a whatsapp and i'll do the rest.

Qualified - I have a degree BSc (hons) in Animal Behaviour and welfare, meaning I have extensively STUDIED positive training techniques, healthcare, safe handling, ethics and laws surrounding pet care and ownership AND HAVE BEEN trained to recognise AND UNDERSTANDpet behaviour and emotions
Canine First Aid Trained - your pets safety is important to me and I always carry first aid supplies with me on walks should I need them as well as having completed a comprEhensive course covering animal related emergencies and CPR.
Experienced - THIS IS MY FULL TIME JOB. its not a hobby and I am not playing at it. I have many years experience in boarding kennels, rescue centres and training schools prior to starting this business 5 years ago, as well as being a dog mum myself.
Fully Insured with Cliverton, who specialise in professional pet carer insurance. I am insured both for care, custody and control of animals as well as public liability MEANING SHOULD anything happen in my care your pets are covered.
DBS (police) checked - I have a clean history and can be trusted with the responsibility of looking after your pets, keys and home. MY UP TO DATE DBS REPORT CAN BE SEEN ON REQUEST
I genuinely love and care for your pets like they are my own, most of my clients have been with me for years and are like extended family. my job is my passion and i take my responsibilities to you and your pets very seriously.
all about me
My name is CJ and I am the face behind Sit Stay Paws.
I have loved all animals from an early age, and over the years I have volunteered and worked in various rescue centres, boarding kennels, catteries, stables, training schools, and even a zoo, so I have lots of hands on experience with different species - whether they bark, meow, hiss or croak.
I live in Clipstone with my WIFE and our two babies, Ruby and Bramble (spaniels), who sleep in our bed, go on holiday with us and generally get treated like the queens they are.
I completed a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and gained a 1st with honours, so you can rest assured I know my stuff. I have since completed further optional qualifications in pet first aid, CPR, a City and Guilds lvl2 in dog walking .
I pride myself in making sure your pets have a positive experience, are comfortable, safe and happy in my care and I absolutely love my job.
